self portrait is an exploration of the intersection of the physical merging with technology; flipping between computers and physicality. Each print is initiated by a human pulse. A triangle is generated in Processing for each heart beat. The drawing was then translated into physicality and reinterpreted 40 times by hacking a plotter, using different tools and mediums such as ink, graphite, paint, and different textures 40 iterations of compositions initially drawn by my hearbeat. manufacturing new arms to hold different utensils such as sharpie markers, pens, pencils, crayons, and painbrushes.
